Tampa Bay Technical High School (TBT) was established in 1969 as Tampa Bay Vocational Technical School. Tampa Bay Tech is a public comprehensive magnet high school with grades 9-12 and a student enrollment of 1950 students. The school mascot is the Titan. All students are accepted by application in one of the three specialized programs: Tampa Bay Technical High School Programs, Academy of Architecture & Environmental Design, or Academy of Health Professions. A dedicated faculty provides instruction in everything from advanced placement to certified technical skill courses. The school campus resembles a community college campus with large laboratory facilities for several unique technology programs.
